About Our Event

The event aims to create a unique experience that celebrates the legacy of Adwa and launches Behager Lij’s long awaited animated short and other projects. It will allow creatives to showcase their digital art and for attendees to learn more about Adwa and its historical significance.

The event will launch with a short animated movie, the first of its kind in Ethiopia. The movie hovers around the essence of “Adwa”, its legacy and what meaning it actually communicates to the new generation. This will be followed by an art gallery showcasing the work of numerous talented young Ethiopian digital artists, each with their own title and interactive art piece. Other activities will include a panel discussion about the legacy of Adwa, 360-degree camera filming, networking opportunities, invited guest and more

Behager Lij is a company based in Addis Ababa that began with a small children’s book called “ሉንጎ ወደ አዲስ አበባ”. From then on it expanded to devising vibrant story telling techniques in
numerous formats like artistic illustrations, animations, interactive software and games
design, web design, children’s books, and much more.
